Long regarded as one of America's most gifted writers, Wright Morris authored over thirty-three books. He was born in Central City, Nebraska, on 6 January 1910. Josephine "Jo" Mary Rossler Morris was born on November 21, 1928, to Kylah C. Golding Rossler and Joseph A. Rossler. She was married to Paul Kantor, with whom she shared an interest in art collecting. Morris divorced Paul Kantor in 1958. She later married author Wright Morris.
